Lyte Code is a free, in-browser application. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
The service
Lyte Code runs entirely in your browser and stores your data on your own device. It is provided to you free of charge, for personal interview preparation.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The practice content is for educational purposes and is not a guarantee of any interview or employment outcome.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the app. Because your data is stored locally, you are responsible for backing it up (Settings → Export).
Acceptable use
Use the app for lawful, personal interview preparation. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, misuse any optional integrations, or use the app in a way that infringes the rights of others.
Content and intellectual property
The problem set, curated lists, reading material, and the overall compilation of content in the app are provided solely for your personal interview preparation. You may not copy, scrape, extract, reproduce, redistribute, republish, or otherwise exploit this content or any underlying data, in whole or in part, whether by automated means or otherwise, without prior written permission. Where individual third-party items are made available under their own license, your use of those items is governed by that license.
Third-party services
Optional features such as the AI coach and GitHub sync rely on third-party services that you configure with your own credentials. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms, and any usage costs they charge are your responsibility. See the privacy policy for how data is handled when these features are enabled.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves; material changes will be reflected by the date above. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
